Un tipo de hongo que hallamos frecuentemente en el predio que está cerca de casa son los hongos ¨orejas¨:  lo que más llama mi atención, además de su particular forma y textura, es cada vez que lo encontramos lo hacemos sobre ramas o troncos de un árbol que se llama ¨ceibo¨: honestamente no sé cuál sea la razón, pero estimo que tiene que ver con que la ¨corteza¨ de esta árbol es super blanca

El segundo hongo que tuvimos la oportunidad de fotografiar es uno llamado ¨Hapalopilus-nidulans¨:  A este hongo pocas veces lo hemos visto, si mal no recuerdo esta es la tercera vez que lo encontramos, y lo curioso es que cada vez que lo vimos crecen en un árbol llamado ¨fresnos¨:  y creo que es la razón del porque nunca lo hallamos en la reserva, dado que al parecer allí no hay arboles de esta especie; estos árboles siembra la municipalidad en las veredas en cada frente de las casas y es donde generalmente gallamos a estos hongos
