Parasol mushroom
In the forest, fallen dry leaves cover the entire surface of the ground. And there is a whole world hidden under the leaves. I wouldn't have even seen this mushroom if I hadn't taken a break to photograph the tree.
The cap is the same color as the fallen leaves with just a little white to differentiate it from the surroundings. I began taking pictures of it from various perspectives when I realized it wasn't alone.
Next to it, a large collection of tiny mushrooms develops.
These mushrooms have slender, elongated stems that show they are searching for light, which is scarcely present beneath the leaves.
