FungiFriday - Russula

in #hive-15132711 months ago

Hello friends,

Happy #FungiFriday to all of you.

Two mushrooms, most probably of the Russula genus, were hiding among the fallen leaves of the oak tree. The color of their caps is identical to the color of the leaves and would be hidden among them if they had not grown enough to notice the difference.

I noticed them last month because I pass by almost every day, but I thought they were already gone. It seems that they successfully hid under the leaves until the wind made room for their rapid development.

I have found this species before in the winter months under deciduous trees covered with frost. They definitely don't mind cold weather or sub-zero temperatures.

this is as the saying goes. diamonds among piles of rubbish

I wish it was a diamond.

It's good that the wind blew the leaves a little and you could see these beautiful mushrooms.

I love the size and color of these mushrooms, it's great that you were able to see it. Beautiful shots.

Thank you. I already knew where to find them. Wind just helped me noticing them again

It is true, when you know the places of the mushrooms it is easier to find them. Excellent
