On the occasion of this Friday, I am again preparing some beautiful mushrooms to be displayed in the #FungiFriday Community organized by @ewkaw today.
Last Thursday the weather was also very sunny and I went back around the areca nut plantation to look for mushrooms, and it was not in vain because I found several species of mushrooms, and some of the portraits of these mushrooms that I want to show this time because some of these mushroom species have their own characteristics starting from their shape and color which are very beautiful and unique.
And after I arrived at this areca nut plantation and I saw some areca nut trees that were dead and rotten and some of them were already covered in green moss, and a few minutes later I found a group of this Psathyrella mushroom species, and at that time I saw it growing well on a pile of wood that was already covered in green moss, and without waiting long I immediately took several angles of pictures that looked very beautiful and graceful.
Psathyrella is a large genus of about 400 species, and is similar to the genera Coprinellus, Coprinopsis, Coprinus and Panaeolus, usually with a thin cap and white or yellowish white hollow stem.....Wikipedia
Then I also found the Lentinus mushroom species and at that time I saw it growing well on a dead and rotten areca nut tree, and from its shape the color was bright white and as usual I immediately took several different angles of the picture and it looked very beautiful and graceful, because this white mushroom has its own characteristic shape and I hope you like it.
Lentinus is a genus of fungi in the family Polyporaceae. The genus is widely distributed, with many species found in subtropical regions.....Wikipedia
Then I also found this species of Xylaria fungus and this fungus has a finger-like shape that looks very unique, and with its black and brown color it looks quite interesting and beautiful and at that time I saw it growing well on a dead areca nut tree, and as usual I immediately took several different angles of pictures and it looks very beautiful and unique, and I hope you like it.
Xylaria or Dead man's fingers is one of the genus of fungi that grow upright, like ropes or form like stroma.....Wikipedia
