Hello everyone, how are you on this Friday, and I am back to prepare some beautiful mushrooms to be showcased at the #FungiFriday Community hosted by @ewkaw today.
Last Thursday I went back around the areca nut plantation and small forest to look for mushrooms in preparation for this Friday. And before I leave I always bring a smartphone camera and a macro lens in the small bag that I bring, and when I get there I immediately explore the small forest, and a moment later I saw a pile of rotten wood and at that time I immediately approached it.
After approaching it and at that time I found this species of Pezizaceae hairy fungus that thrives on the pile of wood, and at that time I immediately approached it and took several different angles of the picture and it looked very beautiful and graceful. And on this occasion I am back to show some portraits of this species of hairy fungus and I hope you like it.
The hairy mushroom species has a different body shape with its own characteristics and looks very unique, and the hairy mushroom that I found this time has a cup-like shape that looks very unique with a red color that looks so eye-catching, and what is very unique is that the fine hairs attached to the body of this mushroom have their own characteristics that look very interesting.
The Pezizaceae (commonly referred to as cup fungi) are a family of fungi in the Ascomycota which produce mushrooms that tend to grow in the shape of a "cup".....Wikipedia
Then I found this species of Lentinus ear fungus. The fungus species looks so very interesting because it has a shape similar to an ear with a brown color that looks very bright, and at that time I immediately approached it and took some pictures that looked very beautiful and perfect, and you can see below some pictures of this species of ear fungus and hopefully you like it.

Then I found another species of wood fungus or better known by another name, namely Pycnoporus sanguineus. And its shape is similar to a fan with an orange color that looks very interesting and unique, and at that time I saw it when I was walking around the areca nut plantation and found this species of wood fungus growing on this dead areca nut tree, and at that time I immediately took some portraits of this species of wood fungus that looks very beautiful, and you can see it below.
