Hi how are you, hope you are having a great day and are doing well wherever you are. Today I am back to prepare some beautiful mushrooms that I will be featuring in the #FungiFriday Community hosted by @ewkaw today.
Last Thursday I went back around the areca nut plantation to look for mushrooms for this Friday's post. And there I saw several species of mushrooms growing well on piles of rotten areca nut wood, and the first species of mushroom I found was this Xeromphalina species that grows well on rotten wood fragments.
And at that time I immediately took my smartphone camera and macro lens in my bag, and without waiting long I immediately took several different angles of the picture and it looked very beautiful and graceful, and on this occasion I again captured several portraits of this beautiful mushroom species, and I hope you like it.
This mushroom has a hat shape that looks very beautiful with yellow and brown colors that look so eye-catching, with a small stem, maybe this mushroom is still new to growing and at that time I took several different angles of the picture to see the interesting side of this small hat mushroom species.
Xeromphalina is a genus of fungi in the family Mycenaceae. The genus has a widespread distribution, and contains about 30 species.....Wikipedia
Then I went towards another pile of areca nut trees that had been cut down and suddenly I found this species of fungus Gymnopilus aeruginosus. And at that time I saw it growing well on the rotten areca nut roots, and as usual I immediately took some pictures that looked very beautiful and graceful, and you can see them below.
This mushroom has its own shape and characteristics starting from its yellow color and in the middle it is red which is so attractive. And its umbrella is rather large and thick it looks so perfect and at that time I saw it growing with its friends, and especially for the past few days our area has been experiencing rain so this mushroom grows a lot on piles of rotten and damp wood.
Gymnopilus aeruginosus, also known as the magic blue gym, is a mushroom-forming fungus that grows in clusters on dead wood and wood chip mulch.....Wikipedia
Then I found another species of Mycena renati mushroom growing abundantly on one of the rotten tree trunks. And at that time I immediately took some photos of this small mushroom species that looked very interesting and perfect, and on this occasion I will again show some photos of this small hat mushroom species and I hope you like it.
