Mushroom hunting in the afternoon // Discovery of a rare red slimy mushroom

Good morning to all my beloved hive friends and to all my respected mushroom lover friends ♥️

Yesterday afternoon, precisely at 04.00 pm, I took the time to do an activity that has become my weekly routine, which is hunting for mushrooms in the forest, but on this hunt I will hunt in a garden that I have never visited before, namely a palm oil plantation owned by local residents which is not too far from my house, and the one who told me about the garden was a friend of mine, because the palm oil plantation is right next to his garden, so he told me that in the palm oil plantation there are many types of mushrooms growing so that made me very curious and started visiting the garden.

If I walked, it would probably take about 19 minutes to get to the oil palm plantation, and it was quite a tiring journey, especially this time I was hunting for mushrooms alone, because I did that activity suddenly after hearing what my friend said.

Once I arrived at the oil palm plantation, I saw that the plantation was not very large and only had a few oil palm trees growing on it, but it was no wonder that my friend said that there were a lot of mushrooms growing around the plantation, because the oil palm trees growing there were very close together, making the conditions under the trees very dark and of course humid.

As soon as I arrived at the plantation, I immediately went into the plantation area and immediately looked for mushrooms on every rotten branch of the oil palm tree, and it turned out to be true as my friend said, not long after looking for mushrooms, I immediately found a very unique mushroom.

However, because the conditions under the oil palm tree were very dark, I moved the mushrooms I found to a brighter place so that when they were photographed, the mushrooms would get enough light.

We can see several mushrooms ranging in size from the largest to the smallest, this is a very unique mushroom growth where the larger mushrooms are clearly visible and very dominant.

However, this mushroom itself is a mushroom that I find very often because this mushroom can grow on several dead trees and the growth of this mushroom is also very fertile so that finding this mushroom is also very easy.

After I felt I had taken enough photos of the mushrooms, I immediately moved the mushrooms to the place where I first took them, and then immediately continued looking for several other types of mushrooms in this oil palm plantation.

Until finally I managed to find the hairy cup mushroom again, but this time I found this mushroom with a smaller size than my previous discovery. And to photograph the mushroom I also had to repeat the same thing, namely moving this mushroom to a brighter place, so that when I took the photo it got enough light.

After I was satisfied photographing the mushroom, I immediately continued looking for other types of mushrooms, until finally I immediately focused on the darkest side of the park which was on the edge of the river, I continued walking with positive thoughts, until finally I managed to find a very beautiful mushroom.

After successfully finding this mushroom, I felt very happy and satisfied, because I had never found this mushroom before, and this was a very valuable discovery for me, so after I found this mushroom, I immediately ran home, because I wanted to take a picture of this mushroom when I got home.

This mushroom has a size that is not too big and not too small, and the beauty of this mushroom can be seen from its bright red color, so my attraction to this mushroom is very extraordinary. There is one more thing that makes this mushroom very unique, namely that all parts of this mushroom are very sticky and slimy and the slime from the mushroom will stick to my hands when I touch it. I have never seen it before so I am very curious about this mushroom.

However, when I got home I realized that I had not explored the entire palm oil plantation, this made me even more curious about the plantation and maybe I will return to the plantation another time.

It was getting dark, so I went straight to the garden to move my goats to their pen. On my way back from the garden, I managed to find another red mushroom growing abundantly on a dry banana leaf.

This mushroom is so small that I had a hard time photographing it, plus my macro lens was broken, so I had to really use my cellphone camera to be able to photograph this mushroom with satisfactory results.

And fortunately, even without the help of a macro lens, I was still able to take good photos of these mushrooms, and after that I immediately continued with my activities, namely moving the goats to their pens.
