A few days ago, my friends suggested that we go to the forest and look for mushrooms.
I really like to discover mushrooms, examine and photograph them (without picking them), so I decided to go with my friends.
We grabbed the bikes and headed to the foot of Bakrlaka peak, which is a northeast branch of the magical Strandzha mountain.
The first mushrooms we started to find were Macrolepiota.
They were plentiful, most tall and large, and my friends collected from them.
It had rained a few days ago and at one point the road we were cycling on became muddy. We had to push the bikes on the grass.
Group of mushrooms around a log.
The honey mushroom bouquets we found were interesting. Further into the forest we found more of them.
At one point, some of us stayed with the bikes and others continued deep into the forest.
These little white ones Puffball are so cute.
These mushrooms had quite an interesting texture.
Mushrooms with interesting colors:
Next to this red mushroom was a small animal skull:
This mushroom attracted me with its shape:
Another interesting mushroom that secreted a liquid:
Small mushrooms
A mushroom like something out of a children's book:
And more bouquets of mushrooms that we found:
The walk was very interesting for me, and my friends, who wanted to find a Boletus mushrooms, did not find it, but at least they picked some Macrolepiota.
