THE DIGITAL SKILL I WISH HAD WORKED OUT FOR ME

Life is a very funny place to be, with different people and their different journies. Some people find their path early, works for them and they decide it's something they want to stick to maybe forever. However, finding oneself takes a while for some people, they have to try out different things in order to find out what works for them. As for me, I have tried a lot of things in my life, and honestly, I have zero regrets. It

Talking about that one special digital skill I do wish I had gained knowledge in, that would be graphics designing and branding. I have had interest in that skill since forever, and I don't know what scares me so much to actively pursue it. I tried to do so a couple of times, and I just get this really overwhelming feeling that makes me doubt myself. I really love good and creative designs, logo arts, and photo manipulations. I see some designs and I would wonder if I could ever make anything that good, because the creativity was so clear.

I can't remember if I realized it then, but the fact remains that whoever did those designs I found really cool and perfect probably sucked so bad on their first few trials. I don't really know why I chickened out of learning it, I can boldly say that I really loved it and wanted to pursue it. I still love it till now, but there's no chance for me in that field anymore. I have a new interest now and it is going pretty well.

I just cannot help but wonder how it would be now, if I had made the skill work out for me. I am pretty sure I would have done something really good with it, and come to think of it, it would have helped my business greatly. I would have built myself flyers and so many other designs, and maybe even help others bring their ideas to life too. I think I just have a thing for art generally and it would have been so nice to not forever be an admirer but actually a creator of more art. It would have been really cool undoubtedly, but it's all good.

As I said earlier, I don't think it's a skill I can pursue anymore because apparently, I have a new skill I am exploring now and I am not the best at multi-tasking in some cases. Especially with the fact that they are completely unrelated and I would want to put too much pressure on myself. I think I am make do with my simple canva designs, and if I need some for my business, I definitely know what to do as well. Just that it would have been more cool to do it like a professional, you know.

Thanks for reading ❤️

Honestly, we tend to do that injustice to ourselves when we chicken out because we see better players. We forget those people were once like us. It’s really sad
