Features are the sales future: A must for a laptop

in #hive-1516622 months ago

One of the most used gadgets for a tech bro is a laptop, how can you call yourself a tech bro when you don't have a computer? Well, as a guy in the tech world, one of the gadgets I use the most is my laptop and when I am out to get a computer, I make sure to check the features of the computer to see if what I am about to get possesses some features I always work with.

Image is mine

Let's talk about the simple ones

Keyboard backlighting

The last PC I used was a PC that had no keyboard backlighting. I used to work at night with my l and I am good at typing without looking at the keyboard but I don't know where some other keys are, some symbols which mean I have to put on the light in the dark just to find some missing keys that are not missing. Now, if a PC doesn't have backlighting, it's a no-go for me because I will find it hard to use it.

Copilot (AI) Supported

The new generational computers are now copilot-supported but there are still computers out there that have no AI support. If I am to get a PC, I will make sure the PC has an AI support feature because it also helps me with some of the jobs I need, like generating images, quick searches, corrections, and many more. There are so many things this feature can do and I am saying if your PC doesn't have copilot, then you are missing.

The Storage (Minimum of 8GB RAM and 250GB ROM)

Yeah, I am always surprised how some people say their PC is out of storage or it's slowing down. Like, didn't you check the storage before buying it, what do you mean your laptop is 4GB RAM? I have seen people in this category and they always have a hard time operating their PC. I remember my sister's old PC, it was so heavy that if it fell to the ground, I would be more worried about the ground than the laptop.

The connection Port.

Mostly, the laptop should have a 3 USB port, an HDMI port, a USD port, a headphone port, a desktop port, and some other important ones too. My current laptop has just two USB ports which I am already using one of the ports for my wireless mouse meaning I have just one left, and it also doesn't have an HDMI port, so I am planning on getting a new one that I can use for Presentation.

So, there you go. These are some of the important features I look out for when I am about to purchase a new gadget. I hope you have been able to learn one or two from this so you don't make the same mistake I did. This is why I said in my topic "Features are the sales future" No one will want to buy a gadget with fewer features. Thanks for reading.

Ooooh. I also used to think about back lighting but mostly because I found them fancy lol.

😅😅😅
It’s actually a fancy feature if you think about it but it’s one of the most important features a laptop should have. How would you type in the dark

I get laptop facilities in the office. It's just that technology is developing faster. I also feel the two features you mentioned

Yeah
They are very important now adays

That’s funny, to be more worried about the ground than the laptop. Haha
Not everyone really understands those features when it comes to getting a device. You’re fortunate to be insightful when it comes to these gadgets because these are some cool features you’ve mentioned here.

Yeah yeah
One must be sure they should not buy a calculator for what a phone is meant to do

I'm not really clear on what an 'AI PC' gives you. Any PC can use Co-Pilot (well, any PC that can run a version of Windows that supports Co-Pilot anyway). There are some machines that include a 'Neural Processing Engine' for use with Co-Pilot+ though I don't know what features that gives you. Microsoft lists 16GB as the minimum amount of RAM for Co-Pilot+ though. I haven't decided yet if this is a real useful feature or a sales gimmick. There are numerous other AI services that can be used with any PC.

I love the fact that you said that because I was about to say my sis dell laptop doesn't use copilot and the laptop I was using before doesn't either.

And yes, I think its a sale gimmick too. Apart from the copilot on my laptop which came with it, I have some other AI I installed and created on my laptop which I use personally.
