Many of us are looking forward to the upcoming holiday. We all know we are in the festive season and there is a big celebration coming up, but do we know why we are celebrating and why the season is filled with so much love and joy? I will tell you why.
Every year, on December 25th, millions of people around the world come together to celebrate Christmas. This festive holiday is marked by twinkling lights, decorated trees, and joyful gatherings with family and friends. But what is the true reason for this celebration?
At its heart, Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. According to Christian belief, Jesus was born in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago to bring hope, love, and salvation to humanity. The story of his birth, found in the Bible, tells of Mary and Joseph, who, unable to find room at an inn, took shelter in a stable where Jesus was born. Angels proclaimed his birth to shepherds, and wise men traveled from afar, guided by a star, to honor the newborn with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
There is more to talk about, but let's stop there because I already told you the reason for the celebration. Today I am not just here to tell you about the birth of Jesus Christ but to also share some of the designs I made with my friends on Hive. In the digital lifestyle community. We were asked to get creative with the theme of the season, which is Christmas so here is mine.
