For a really long time there has been the debate between iPhone and Android, and I have lived in both worlds and also drank from both well. Although at this moment, I am using the old versions of both Android and iPhone, which I got 4 years ago. Although the Android was released 4 years ago, while the iPhone was released 7 years ago.

My Choices
For the past four years that I have been using these devices, I must say my favourite has always been the Android. And that is because I get the best experience in multitasking. But when it comes to photography, this is where I will say my iPhone does way better than my Android. I will choose pictures taken by my iPhone 100% of the time as compared to my Android phone.
Let us take a picture example of shots taken by the Android and by this same iPhone.

If you look at both pictures, you can easily deduce which is shot by the iPhone and that shot by the Android.
There is something I noticed about my Android device and it is that the camera was not so good from the day I bought it. I compared it with a friend that used the same device and his was way better than mine. I accepted my fate like that.
Also, one thing that is common among some sets of Android phones is that the camera seems to degrade in picture quality over time. I think that is because the lens gets dirty. I noticed that on my Android phone, while my iPhone camera remained great as always.
So for photography, it goes to the iPhone XR.
If we are to look at the context of navigation and multitasking, then I will always pick my Android. Since I am not the type of person that makes use of his phone camera as much, I am not bothered by my Android phone camera. It is not so bad after all, just that it is not as great as the iPhone.

With my Android phone, I was able to read posts in LinkedIn and, at the same time, keep track of messages that go on WhatsApp without having to leave my LinkedIn app. And if I want to communicate with anyone on WhatsApp, I can do that while my LinkedIn application is still open.
Although I am not a frequent movie watcher, this feature comes very useful, especially when I am watching movies. I keep my WhatsApp overlay at a side of my phone while being able to watch a movie and still keep in touch, or text back messages I receive on WhatsApp.
I have not seen this feature applied on the iPhone yet. I don't know about the latest releases of iPhone because I am using a very old version that was made 8 years ago. So I certainly expect a lot of development to have been made since then.
For multitasking & gaming, especially, my take goes to android, Poco X3 Pro
But for real, aside from a good camera, I can't really see any more reason to get an iPhone. Or maybe to show class and to feel like being part of the elites. That's why many people would go for an iPhone. If I am to get a new phone right now, I would get an Android, then maybe consider buying another iPhone.
For the Android, I would go for Samsung or Google Pixels. Google Pixels has been on my watch for a long time, and I know that when I can afford buying it, I will.
