The Next-Gen Home: Smart Home Dreams

in #hive-151662last month

One thing about me is that most things don’t fascinate me. I believe it’s because I have the mindset that the world is evolving and so I’m no longer surprised when I see some new stuff around me.

In my country, I wouldn’t say we have caught up with technology like other parts of the world. We are even still adapting to basic technological tools while also lacking most of them. In other countries, I’ve seen that robots are being used for most activities but in Ghana , I haven’t seen or ever heard of us having a robot. Maybe, someone - probably and African American in Ghana has a robot in his or her house that I don’t know of. lol.

Also, here in Ghana , people are quick to tag others as villagers when they express shock at the sight of something. Sometimes, they’re actually being villagers cos tell me why this lady I know had to make a full video to show us that the hotel room she’s lodged in uses cards to unlock the doors. Like, is this even something new?😂 Maybe she needs to go out more often cos this isn’t anything new in Ghana.

Now, enough of the gist. Speaking about smart home devices, I’ve come across a few which I think are quite cool and would consider buying one if I could. First, on my list would be the mini smart projectors out there. I’m not a Tv person, but I’d love to be able to watch my movie from the wall of my room in a bigger size. Cool right? The traditional projectors I know of are big and sometimes not portable but a smart projector is obviously a cool one to add to my list of devices at home.

Next, how can I forget about the emergence of massage chairs. For someone with constant back pains, I’d always end up sleeping in this chair if I had one.😅 I’ve seen a couple of people have it in their homes and office spaces and trust me, it’s really worth it. I’ve also seen videos of the latest smart beds but man, thats not something that I’m drawn. No matter what, I can’t let my whole life revolve around technology and to think that even my sleep should be technology dependent is insane . I’d rather sleep on my bed as it is and have a massage chair to massage my back when I don’t sleep well.😂

Last on my list would be the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator. I found out about this refrigerator, thanks to one lady I follow on TikTok. She’s literally watching videos on her fridge will cooking and I know I’d also love to have this kind of luxury if only I’m not going to forget about my food on fire.😂 From my research, the refrigerator does have some special features like allowing you look into your fridge from your phone anywhere you are. A nice way to catch the one that’s always stealing your meat from your soup.😂

Well, there are obviously a lot more smart home devices I haven’t even heard about which do exist. But, from the few that I know, these are the ones I’d love to have in my home. If only wishes were horses…

I can feel you
There are so many things that makes a smart home
One luxury I’ll like to have is the Tesla robot guy
I’ll just give it my hive account to be working on 😅😅

I have smart home tho, my refrigerator can show you film and the food one burnt because the gas cooker will be checking the food and when it is done
It will off the fire.

So how about we talk about you moving in🤭🤭🤭

😂😂 lazy lazy

I will move in and now be using Coal-pot, no thanks

ahahahaha, I already told you I live in a smart home right

Tell me more.

We haven’t talked lately
What’s happening

Life is happening

Is that enough reason 😒

Look into your fridge on an app... Now that's fancy. Who wouldn't want one? But that massage chair is way more useful.
