So this week's challenge post on dreemport is to create an Invite to our presentation on the Dreemshare Event happening on GoBrunch.
I would say this is the next phase of our GoBrunch + Dreemport collaboration and most of us who attended the expo last week can attest to how much we enjoyed it.
Some of us made a post of our experiences and what we learned about it. Here is my own post for those who missed it, you can check it out and share your thoughts.
So when I saw this week's post, I thought of what topic to present. Fashion, education, most of this things came to mind for me and of course while it would feel like something I could easily make research on and talk about, I decided to go through another path.
I thought of something that would be in form of practical for me and I chose this topic;
Face Your Camera Phobia
Immediately it came to me, there was a shiver that ran through my spine. I thought of abandoning it as soon as it came but then an inner voice told me to go through with it.
"What would I say?", I wondered. "I haven't done anything like this before, how would I pull it off? ", the voice continued.
"But isn't that what Dreemport is for?" a voice countered. "Dreemport helps you challenge yourself, to leave your comfort zone and try things you haven't done before. So why not do it", Hmmm, I heaved a sigh of relief. Okay then, I am doing it.
I know there are lots of people like me who sometimes have a lot to say but the camera fears or phobia keeps them from doing or saying what they want to say. Some people have vlogging ideas but the fear of people watching them talk keeps pulling then back.
So I am thinking it would be a kind of presentation where we would all come together to share our thoughts, speak without fear of being judged and maybe just maybe some of us can also turn on our camera and say one of two things. That's If you want to, it's not going to be a compulsory thing.
I get that some people stay away from camera for personal reasons and that's very fine but for those who wants to do it but doesn't know where to start, join me and let's overcome this phobia together.
I would say that I chose this particular topic for myself and other people like me. So I am using this avenue to invite you all to my presentation next week.
