This was a friend and I three days back. We found ourselves so ingested in the conversation of old times and concluded with “Life was Beautiful”.
To be more optimistic, we concluded that we would make it more beautiful for ourselves now and our kids. But truly life as a child was beautiful, and it's kind of strange, you know why?
I'll tell you. Our parents never said that to us. Oh, I never heard my mom or grandma sharing stories of Christmas or cheerful times television in their time was quite stressful to access, so instead of being envious, we would be thanking God that he brought us over to the generation we belong to.
Well, I met black and white but was too little to remember it because before I grew much older into became used to my environment, my Dad had already changed to the most recent TV of the time that likewise got two strews at the back.
There was one time when I normally played with those horns or strews as I called it lol.. as a child born into a Christian background, church plays would be expected right .. and there you would see choir mistress (sister victory) using her father’s tv strews as microphone lol and that made it almost spoil because as time went on, we had to be adjusting o more often for clearer view.
Oh and for the part about fighting over a remote.. that’s a story I’ve shared before because Tory is guilty as charged for that one 😅
Honestly, I find this recent time boring, It's more like feeling sad for this gens because to me. I believe my generation line experienced the beauty of first-start technology improvement and maybe that's the difference between this time and then.
