El cielo es afortunado. Espero que allá arriba también te estén rindiendo honores y celebrándote como la magnifica guerrera que eres.
Nosotros estamos recordándote siempre, pero es obligatorio hacerlo este días en el que hay personas que aún tienen a sus madres cerca y pueden abrazarlas, besarlas, sin ningún impedimento físico y es allí cuando la distancia duele por ser tan definitiva.
Gracias, mamá. Por haber sido el soporte de nuestra familia, por la educación de mis valores, por enseñarme a ser una buena persona, por ponerme de ejemplo que siempre debemos ayudar a los otros pese a las injusticias y adversidades.
No pasa un día en que no te recuerde, pero en mayo y también a finales de diciembre, me acuerdo más de ti, porque son fechas donde las familias tienen como centro de sus atenciones a sus madres.
¡En serio, gracias mamá! Jamás hubiese sido ni un cuarto de la gran alma que soy si no fuese por tus esfuerzos porque yo avanzara, porque aprendiera las lecciones del colegio, por las vigilias cuando estuve enfermo, por mostrarme el coraje de estar allí todos los días para regañarme, felicitarme, darme consejos y preocuparte cuando las cosas iban mal.
Mamá, hoy es tu día acá en la tierra y yo no puedo evitar ver de reojo a esas familias que aún tienen a sus madres vivas y no las abrazan tan fuertes, sin soltarlas, porque olvidan que no son eternas.
El mejor regalo era tenerte cerca.

Hi, Mom. Blessing. I bought you a present. Remember what we used to do these Sundays? Great food, gifts, thank yous, music. The best gift, though, was having you with us.
Heaven is lucky. I hope that up there they are also honoring you and celebrating you as the magnificent warrior that you are.
We are always remembering you, but it is mandatory to do it on these days when there are people who still have their mothers close and can hug them, kiss them, without any physical impediment and that is when the distance hurts because it is so definitive.
Thank you, Mom. For having been the support of our family, for the education of my values, for teaching me to be a good person, for setting me an example that we should always help others despite injustices and adversities.
Not a day goes by that I don't remember you, but in May and also at the end of December, I remember you more, because these are dates when families have their mothers as the center of their attention.
Seriously, thank you mom! I would never have been even a quarter of the great soul I am if it wasn't for your efforts for me to move forward, to learn my school lessons, for the vigils when I was sick, for showing me the courage to be there every day to scold me, congratulate me, give me advice and worry when things went wrong.
Mom, today is your day here on earth and I can't help but look sideways at those families who still have their mothers alive and don't hug them so tightly, without letting go, because they forget that they are not eternal.
