I got closer to coffee, when I started to be intense with laptops and the world of writing. Including, when I worked at a company at that time. In front of my computer, in the office, not a day without coffee.
Although now, I have reduced the amount of coffee I drink. Still, I can have fun with coffee to enter the world of creativity.
Do you consider coffee for special? If so, what do you do to make coffee feel special?
For me, I like to enjoy coffee with beautiful mugs. Be it coffee, chocolate, and tea drinks. All caffeinated drinks deserve to be served beautifully.
For me working at home, currently, I have several mugs, or my favorite ceramic cups.
This blue ceramic cup is my favorite. It can only hold 200 ml, so it keeps me from overdoing it when making caffeinated drinks.
That's also why I really appreciate coffee shops that serve their caffeinated drinks with nice mugs. My favorite is coffee served in a red mug.
The red mug served in one of my favorite coffee shops reminds me of my old red mug collection. Unfortunately, my red mug is broken. So, it's a kind of nostalgia.
In the past, my red mug has accompanied me for a long time and I was even able to produce a new book. I always wrote accompanied by that red mug. Unfortunately, all that is left is just a memory.
Red mugs are indeed special. They make coffee drinks look more beautiful. Also, they look more luxurious, compared to just using ordinary glass cups.
The red color on the edge of the mug is like a frame to emphasize the coffee. But the inside of the mug must be white to create a contrast to the coffee.
Unfortunately, there are also some coffee shops that only use paper mugs for single use, like when we do takeaway. For the dine-in method, they should pay more attention to the media for serving caffeinated drinks.
As a customer, it is indeed appropriate to be served the best. For me, even though I drink coffee at home, I still serve it with my best glass. Then, it feels strange if coffee shops now only think about practicality. Because disposable mugs will of course reduce the production costs of the coffee shop, there is no need to wash glasses or mugs.
For example, a coffee franchise brand in my city. I like the taste, but I hate their coffee packaging. Indeed, the color looks cute, but it makes it look cheap. I would appreciate it more if they differentiate between takeaway and dine-in. Because customers have paid, not for free.
Likewise with caffeinated drinks served cold. There are many types of stunning glass cups, which make the drink even more beautiful and appetizing.
What do you think? Do you think serving glasses or mugs are important for serving caffeinated drinks? What is your favorite glass or mug like? Maybe you can share in the comments below, of course. 😊
