Before anything else, coffee would be the first thing in my mind every morning. If you can call this a perfect timing, I went to a coffee shop that bears the name aligned with my ways of living. Only a true coffee lover could have thought of such catchy name for a coffee shop.
BUT FIRST, COFFEE
Months ago, I have heard of this place from a friend at a dinner when we were talking about the effect of double shot americano on us and comparing it to a local grind coffee in the market. I have been inquiring where else I could find a double shot latte that could have a slightest effect on me. But First, Coffee was mentioned, but my friend haven't tried their coffee drinks yet, thus he couldn't recommend it to me.
It happens that the incoming Second Year students of the Information Systems Department were called at the Registrar's office for the evaluation of grades before proceeding to the next semester. After the summer break, our group of friends has been reunited once again to catch up with one another and spend time outside for the time being while classes doesn't officially starts.
We were choosing over Art District or But First, Coffee and this coffee shop captivated our attention somehow. Never have I ever had a second thought when I heard the name. I tagged along with my two pretty girl friends even though we didn't know exactly its location.
We weren't even sure if it's located on the left side or right side of Lacson Street going to Robinson's Mall Mandalagan, but we managed to see it on time before we passed through it.
The coffee shop isn't that spacious nor it has fancy decors with the different shades of eye-catching colors. It's rather minimalistic, and I like it! Just fits my lifestyle perfectly.
Two huge coffee machines would be seen at the counter, with their baristas and desserts. There is a menu on the standee at the corner for customers to choose. The shop have lots of drinks to choose from, non-cofee base drinks, espresso based, the regular ones, and matcha latte.
My eyes were fixated on this indoor plant as we take our seats beside it and waited for our orders. It looks real, and you might want to have a second look to verify its authenticity. It's definitey fake! Lol
It didn't took so long before our orders came. Here's my Cafe Latte in the middle, because I want to have a double shot espresso based, badly needed some energy. And my two girl friends ordered mocha latte since they weren't much of a coffee lover like me. Anyways, their coffee is good but I wouldn't say that it had awakened a part of my brain. I mean, I was still the same after drinking it all while these two girls became more hyper.
I occupied myself watching the baristas make coffee for the customers and being an assistant photographer of the two girls. Being with them, you'll be required to have excessive energy to roam the city all day since that's what they like. Even so, tiring but they are fun to be with. Next time, we'll be hitting Art District if they are still up for it.
