The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!
The difficulty of being honest by @irvinc
Against my habit that day I had gotten up earlier than Mary...I went to the library to look for the gift and when I was returning to the kitchen something happened that left me completely disturbed...
Cuppa Desperation by @jhymi
I tiptoed downstairs to the kitchen where I knew he would be and when I was just behind him, I took a minute to admire the broad expanse of his shirtless back. Mine, I sighed. But I must have sighed too loud because Max jolted like he had been scalded by fire and whatever was in his hand crashed to the ground.
Taste it or smell it? by @actioncats
It would be sad, very sad, but it would be what without a doubt I would decide since having felt its smell many times I would imagine it, but I would never think of not feeling its rich flavor, I believe that we have all been sick at some time and have lost the sense of taste, it is very unpleasant to eat something and that it does not taste like anything.
I love you no matter what ❤️☕ by @valeriavalentina
Elliot, not being a big fan of coffee, came up with a strategy to secretly change the coffee Martha was serving him for hot tinted water, since he was tired of drinking coffee without enjoying it, but he didn't want to hurt Martha's feelings and tell her that in fact he had never appreciated his favorite drink the way he had led her to believe.
Atonement For Deception by @wongi
I'm so sorry my love. I honestly didn't want you to find out this way. I wanted to tell you myself but I knew that it would hurt so much. I have never liked coffee. Not even a single bit. But I know that coffee is your favourite thing in the world, and seeing your partner have a cup of coffee with you every morning has a great effect on you. I see the way you glow and radiate each time we share a cup of coffee. And I didn't want to take away this glow"
There was a caught! by @amiegeoffrey
"It's been a burden in my heart to wear this charade for a long time knowing how much you believed in me, but everything I did wasn't to hurt but to show you a better way to be loved, I knew someday I might get caught as there's nothing hidden under the sun, but I never saw it coming so soon. I truly am sorry, I am allergic to coffee but I chose to make you happy wearing this pretense over the years Annie."
My Tongue Loves Juices... by @deraaa
For what it is worth, I do know that the smell of coffee is orgasmic to many people. I know that what wakes some people from their beds is the smell of a hot deliciously brewed coffee and losing that would be like a knife to the heart.
The perfect lie. by @jetta.amaya
"What is it that you can't forgive Laura, that Celia lied to you or that she doesn't like coffee?"
Laura did not answer, but deep down, she knew what the answer was. She could accept anything from Celia, except that she didn't like coffee, how could she live with such a person? She walked while she thought about it, she didn't want to get home, she knew that Celia would be waiting for her there with her crouching face.
We've come too far by @teknon
"It's our anniversary today, so I'll push this under the carpet, we'll revisit it later" I hugged him to calm his heaving chest. "What would you like us to do for fun?" His eyes widened, "you sure?" I nodded with a smile.
"I want to sit beside you and watch you drink your coffee, I always love the look on your face each time you take a sip." I chuckled at his request.
Lies, Pretence and Love.by @george-dee
George grabbed the cup swiftly and sipped from it
"Did you throw the coffee away?" He asked looking confused.
"Say something, Kira. I need an explanation," he muttered but she stayed quiet.
Disappointment was boldly written on his face as he left the dining room. Kira joined him in the room and tried holding his hands but he didn't allow her.
