The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!
A Coffee Cup and All Those Memories
☕️"My comadre gave me this mug. I use it for my masala chai. I love my compadre so I love everything she gives me. No need to say anything else, right? I remember when she brought this mug I was having my 45 birthday, my last birthday in that old house. I will surely remember this moment. The coffee they bring me when I'm working is special. I will probably remember this little cup because this is the one they usually have for me at the office when they buy my coffee at the café we have there." @marlyncabrera
The ups and downs were totally worth it!
☕️ "This cup was gifted to us at our Med School graduation ceremony. I don't know if the picture shows it clearly, but it is kinda an oddly shaped mug. Almost as if it has been roughed up by life itself, and yet it stands tall! Quite poetic, isn't it!" @simplifylife
Bittersweet Memories
☕️ "As the months went by the image faded more and more. This is quite sad to see before your own eyes, as your relationship is also failing and you continue to try and hold on to the things that do and once did remind you of them. It's an incredibly bittersweet feeling. Our relationship sadly did not last but I have all the memories still, the wonderful times spent together and all that we both learned in the process." @dubble
What makes my mug very special
☕️ "My Hive mug reflects constancy, dedication and effort. It's a well-deserved gift from me to me, telling me “Come on, keep going, you're doing great”. That's why she is my favourite mug and it makes me very happy to have it and have my name written on it: Yeli Marín, which in turn is my username." @yelimarin
My favourite coffee cup! 🥰☕
☕️ "The first time I was invited to this house, I was given a coffee cup with a shortbread cake right here, in this coffee cup. I remember I was shocked by its beauty and couldn't stop watching its design. I remember taking several photos of it that time just to show them to my mother (and she liked them too)." @claudiocruz
Christmas memory
☕️ "My mother spoiled me so that I would feel at ease. Before going to sleep she would leave me what I needed for the long night. On a small table in the living room, she would put a large thermos of black coffee and another of hot milk so that I could choose whichever drink I wanted. In addition, he left a good supply of stuffed rolls cookies and crackers.
Every so often I would get up from my chair and grab my favourite mug, it was made of pewter, a kind of brass, painted mostly white but with the top edges painted blue. That mug must have fallen out of my hands many times because I remember it with quite a few dents and peeling paint in many places." @irvinc
Fear, hope and a sprinkle of kindness
☕️ "I have different types of coffee cups, heck I even go to the mall to shop for new ones once in a while but I end up using this particular cup over and again.
While this special cup of mine looks pretty nice and is always sparkling clean, I love it not only for how nice it looks or the feeling I get from using it but for also the beautiful story behind it." @ibbtammy
