CLOSED: Coffee Conversation (April 15 - 17)

I am excited to be part of A big coffee party, A coffee Festival celebrating all types of coffee, and us Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community trying all the coffees, discussing coffee, and enjoying each other's company.

it is important to enjoy and appreciate talking to people face to face without digital technology and what better way to do so than with A nice warm cup of Coffee.

That sounds delicious and fun! I like to try different types of coffees. When you talk to people face to face the time flies by and you are tasting, when you realize you already have 5 cups of coffee in your stomach.

You know the other day I went to a party and I noticed that there were a lot of us, but everyone was glued to their cell phones without talking too much.

That's why I'm struck by what you say, talks without technology, face to face. Sometimes the most traditional and simple things are great, a normal conversation with a coffee, a snack and the people we appreciate.

A party with members of the cinnamon cup coffee community? That would be great! It would be exciting to meet them in person and share our various coffee tastes in person.

I'm always excited to share different opinions with people, thanks to digital, we can connect. I don't know if I have anything to show for it, plus my bad jokes and familiarity that I can bestow on other people.

When it comes to chatting and tasting coffee, I can feel at ease and comfortable with the people I'm with.

Well, if we're all gathered together with coffee and other snacks, we're sure to find interesting things to tell and show.

For example, I was once at a party and said I could imitate Barney the dinosaur. Everyone found it interesting to listen to me and started imitating him too, doing it very badly, but at least it was funny and we had fun. All for something I didn't think anyone would be interested in hahaha.

Ha ha ha ha. I'd like to hear that imitation and others. I think coffee is better than beer, to uncover our ideas and express ourselves freely. Maybe I will also show some talent as the party goes on, everything.

I bring coffee and a good book to share, because the best friend and companion of a coffee is a book.

It would be very exciting to meet all the members of this group who are always talking about how much we love coffee.

That's true, I love to read with a delicious cup of coffee next to a good book that takes me to inhospitable and interesting worlds. It's like savoring and imagining at the same time.

That would be great! I love talking about creative writing. You'd also get a lot of similar questions about your tastes in literature. A coffee party is great for talking about those topics.

I remember that at my grandmother's house coffee time was not something that came alone, no, coffee time always came with other things like cake, cake mix, sweet bread and some other accompaniment.

So if I had to answer what I would share in this party... if you bring the coffee, I would bring the accompaniment for the party.

What would I bring?

For those with a sweet tooth, a good cake to cut and share among several of the attendees.

As there are a thousand and one tastes, there are people who like to drink coffee with very sweet foods, so that the coffee tastes bitter. So to those people I would bring this kind of sweets.

I remember that I found those candies in a cafe, so I took a couple of pictures of the shelf where they were.

On the other hand, for those who like something more homemade and crunchy, there is also something very tasty, buñuelos. These are very tasty cassava fritters, they are sweet and are dipped in caramel so they would be a very good accompaniment to the different types of coffee that you would bring....

Delicious! I drink coffee with sweets, in my house it was also a family custom to have coffee with sweet bread. When I go to coffee shops I always ask for a piece of cake with something and a coffee with milk. At that coffee party, everyone would be satisfied and enjoy the conversation.

Here there is a new café where they sell coffee with cold cakes or marquesas. The other day I had a coffee with a tres leches cake but the coffee didn't taste anything because of the sweetness of the marquise hahaha you could only feel the bitter taste, so coffee doesn't go well with all sweets, but with a sponge cake it does.

I haven't experienced that kind of thing yet, usually when I drink coffee, I drink it sweet and I always try to accompany it with some dessert, even if it's a small piece. I like the sweet sensation when tasting, I'm a treacherous coffee lover 😜😜.
