Happy Sunday coffee lovers, may you have started the day tasting the best of the best, an excellent coffee! I go with my comment, coffee shop or tea house?

In my country, Venezuela, there are no tea houses, or at least I have not heard of any tea house, and there has been a large Chinese community for decades, but they have been dedicated to restaurants and commerce in general, but I do not know of tea houses and our culture is one of coffee.

Once I wanted to have a tea in a coffee shop, and it was so cumbersome that I never tried it again. They served me a cup with hot water and on the plate there was a sachet of black tea, with half a lemon and two sachets of sugar.

I had to put the tea bag in the water, cover it with the plate for a few minutes and then squeeze the lemon and add the sugar to my liking. The lemon was quite dry, and it was a lot of water so the tea turned out watery and simple. Undrinkable.😀

I keep my coffee and tea when I feel like it, I make it at home.

Wao that was a tea self service, almost what they sold you was the hot water for you to flavor it 🙈 Maybe the lack of habit in selling tea makes you have that oversight or maybe the person who served you has no idea how to prepare it. It seems illogical but it usually happens.

A horrible tea, I can imagine the look of disappointment on your face, I think this will always happen to us when we go out for a drink outside the home, these are part of the experience.

I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕

Hehe! This made me laugh, although I can imagine the disappointment you felt.
I experienced something similar, maybe here in the UK (I'm not sure), where I had to make my own tea... it might have been at the airport.
It would be odd for me to visit a teahouse here in the Uk, simply because I'm not so fond of tea:)

Yes, my friend, our culture is coffee.

And certainly, you are right, there is a Chinese community, but here in Caracas where I have been there is not, nor I think in Sucre, nor Guarenas, which is where I currently live.

How unfortunate that you had that bad experience, it is not the same a tea house, that a restaurant, each one to his trade ....

However, it would be great to enjoy one....
But of course, in our homes we enjoy a good cup of tea...
