While visiting the beautiful Lulworth Cove in Dorset, renowned for its distinctive geology, we called in at Jimmy’s, Cove Kiosk right next to the beach.
The view from our table was really picturesque looking out onto the pebbly beach. We both ordered a black coffee with oatmilk. Apparently, they couldn't do cappuccinos and americanos with oat milk, which confused us a bit.
My coffee was quite nice but my friend didn't like the taste of hers so went off and bought another one from a different cafe. I must admit hers looked better with a lid on it. It looked like old dishwater to put it mildly. Not to waste coffee, though. I mixed it with mine and drank the lot. Perhaps I have a harder stomach?
At one point the rooks and crows kept paying us a visit. They obviously hadn't heard about the shit coffee.
The saving grace to this sad little tale was that we couldn't have asked for a better place to drink my favourite drink beside the beach with lovely views on a warm day ..... even if it did look like dishwater!
