Greetings and welcome dear readers of this prestigious platform, the topic we will share in this opportunity is reflective and will allow us to understand that as a human species we are able to adapt and respond positively or negatively according to the circumstances that arise in our lives.

Based on the above, let's listen to Paula's story.

Author: cocoparisienne

Paula was a very enthusiastic young woman who lived in a small village with her grandfather, her life was centered on working in the fields, however, her aspirations were greater, which led her to a state of complaints and regrets for the little she had and above all for how difficult it was for her to get ahead in such precarious conditions.

Her lamentations became very constant for her, when a problem was solved, another more complicated problem reappeared and she used to get discouraged very easily, so her grandfather decided to teach her a good lesson, so one morning while Paula was in the field, he managed to hear her complaints again and decided to send her home, while he followed her.

- Daughter, sit down, were the words of the old man.

- What are we doing here? I must continue with my duties, were Paula's words.

At that moment Paula's grandfather placed a carrot, an egg and some coffee beans on the table, then he put three pots with water on the stove, which he put to boil, without saying a word, in the first pot he put the carrot, in the second pot the egg and finally the coffee. After some time, he removed the carrot and the egg from the boiling water while he filtered the coffee and added it to a cup.

At this point Paula's grandfather asked:

What is the difference of each component before and after the boiling water?

- The answer is very obvious, the carrot was hard and now it is soft, the egg was soft and now it is hard and the coffee did nothing, were Paula's words.

- Right, that's how we people are, each of the elements presented the same adversity but they reacted differently, on the one hand the carrots had arrived strong and hard, but after passing through the boiling water it became very fragile, on the other hand, the egg arrived liquid and fluid but the boiling water made it hard from the inside.

Finally, you have made a mistake with the coffee, when it passed through the boiling water, it transformed it and gave it better characteristics and potentialities.

You are like the carrot, which the problems make you fragile or perhaps like an egg that when the problems arrive you harden the soul, personally I would like you to be like the coffee, the longer the problem lasts, the hotter the water this manifests its best flavor, so that when things get worse, the coffee reacts in the best way and makes everything change around it.

With this I want to say that difficulties are part of life and it is normal that they appear, so do not try to oppose them because at that point they will hurt you more, on the contrary try to find the opportunities of each obstacle that life puts in your way, because in this way it will be easier to overcome it, so that the way we are affected by the problems only depends on us and how we face them.

And you dear reader, are you carrot, egg or coffee?
