Hey, coffee friends!
I hope your week was good. Mine was good and my coffee, too.
About this moka pot vs. French press topic, well, if it's a gift, I'd prefer a moka pot because I want to start my collection again, but if I have to choose what my friend would use to make the coffee we were going to drink, I have to see about that: if their French press is of good quality and they know how to use it, I'd choose this one. Why? Well, coffee brewed with a French press has a more rounded flavor, even when it's dark roast; it's more gentle on the palate.
The coffee I had with that muffin was brewed in my little French press. Luckily, it was delicious. It had never happened before, haha.
I hatrdly ever use my cheap little French press because, regularly, it doesn't make good coffee--or it's me who doesn't know how to use it, hehe--,but when some friends of mine use their fancy French press, oh, what delicious coffee they make! So I don't lose hope of making a coffee as delicious as the one they make and from time to time I pray to the Coffee Goddess and take the risk of using my French press. Today it went well!
