I dislike drinking from plastic cups.
Strangely, before COVID-19, the world was on a crusade for cleaning the oceans and eliminating plastic. Covid came and with many restrictions, people reverted to using plastic and sometimes other disposable cups.
I do hope that plastic reduction of cups and straws will be the focus again.

Humanity has survived many catastrophes. I sincerely hope we intelligently solve this problem. It really worries me and I have thought about this a lot, not seeing much room for action beyond a few personal decisions. However, I do see concern on the part of groups that have a major impact on people's opinions and lifestyles.
