Saving the best coffee

It's Friday, the week has become very long and tiring, I'm serving my husband's breakfast but on TV there is something that catches my attention, they show the packaging of my favorite coffee, the one that only with its smell makes my daily stress and tiredness be replaced by a feeling of happiness. There is no better coffee than that.

My husband takes the remote control and turns up the volume, the newscast says "After having received complaints in several cities of the country, because the coffee El Molino came with a strange appearance, it was the anti-drug department, who have taken the reins of the case, and experts have determined that it is a new drug, that the Cartel El Oceano mistakenly distributed in the packaging of this recognized brand of coffee".

A nervous laugh escapes my lips, I tell my husband "this is incredible, how they invent things". I go to get ready to go to work, but I can't get that news out of my head, I go back down to the kitchen, just to check and uncover one by one the three packages of coffee I have there. The first package doesn't have anything strange, the second package neither but the last package instead is white, the whole package is filled apparently with the drug they mentioned.

It can't be! I scream for my husband to hear me, it is not possible that they have used my favorite coffee for this and I get more upset when my husband tells me that the company and the factory where they make that wonderful drink is under investigation, my husband tells me that they are threatening to close it.

I needed to come up with a plan, they can't mess with my coffee, for me it is sacred. After thinking for a while I came up with a brilliant idea, I went to the nearest police station and suggested a campaign where I told them that a reward would be given to people who found the drugs in a package and that they had to send it to a certain place, then a statement would be made indicating the amount of drugs that had been collected. When the cartel found out, they will want to rescue it and when they do, the best agents will be ready to catch them.

After deliberating that idea, in the different Anti-Drug offices around the country, they decided to try it, it was the only reasonable idea, of course I was unaware of what was happening in the police, but whether they decided to accept my idea or not, I was determined to recover the good name of the coffee that I loved so much, It had been an accomplice of many of my experiences, that is why I dedicated myself to make a blog where the lovers of Café El Molino could request that please they would not close the factory, the whole country could vote and comment on their desire to preserve that brand of coffee that with its only smell makes us feel at home. Already today I have more than 1 million signatures and almost the same amount of comments. We are winning the battle to preserve the delicious Café El Molino.

The director of the company and the assistant director have contacted me, because the authorities said that if my blog passed 1 million signatures the company could not be closed. They called me to thank me for my initiative and as a thank you they offered me a great position in their company, I thanked them but I really like my current job, I only asked them for one thing that for one year they would send me my coffee package without fail. They looked at each other and smiled and said "let's sign a contract where it says that you will receive weekly 2 of our coffee packages during your whole life". That day, they made me very happy.

In the end they kept their promise, I have received my coffee every week without fail and on the packaging of Café El Molino coffee now are these words "CAFE EL MOLINO, Thank you Alicia". What an honor to have my name appear on the packaging of my favorite coffee.
