Everyone has their different preferences when it comes to the weather. For me, I am in love the rainy season. I get that heavy rains sometimes lead to the environments being flooded especially for those of us that stay in somewhat rural areas. But then, I still would take rain over hot weather anytime.
For starters, I love it more when it rains during the weekends because that would mean I get to eat more and of course step it down with my favourite beverage, coffee. I love taking my coffee hot and the cold weather would help me keep downing cups after cups of coffee.
I recently found out about this type of coffee. It's been around for quite a while but I guess I am just noticing it. I tried it and it gives a very good taste, with the malt mixed with coffee flavor. I took it during hot weather and while it tastes great, the hot weather condition didn't allow me enjoy it well.
But it didn't take long before I went back to my favorite way of drinking coffee, which is taking it black but I guess it's good to mix things up once in a while.
Taking hot coffee in the hot season isn't always convenient for me but since I consume it daily, I would mostly have to stay on the veranda in my compound to take my hot coffee during the hot season. Whereas during the rainy season, the weather is already cold, so I would take my coffee right in the comfort of my room, on my bed.
Well, I must confess I sometimes purposely stayed inside in the rain when I was much younger so I would be very cold and that gives me the opportunity to take coffee nonstop.
With shaking hands and chattering of my teeth, I would lift a cup of hot coffee and instantly feel relieved. It used to be very funny back then playing in the rain, however, i stopped so i won't fall ill staying so long in the rain. But that didn't stop my daily cup of coffee.
Another thing I have come to enjoy is this coffee “sweets”. I take them almost everyday, except when I've run out and need to get more. I take them more on days when I'm at home and if it ends up raining when I am at home, then, my sister would have to hide it so I won't finish one full pack all at once. I usually get a whole lot of packs so I don't constantly run out of it.
Rainy season is always very fun for me. If I could wish for it to rain all the time, I probably would. What's there not to love? The cozy, warm and comfortable scenery it brings is so pleasing. I also get to enjoy coffee better. I love the rainy season and I am so looking forward to it.
