Hello, my dear coffee friends. How are you today? How was the work going on? Well, I hope everyone is getting used to our job and enjoying the best.
For today's blog, I want to participate in the Coffee Shop Prompt Week 82:
"Some coffee shops build a brand around a certain theme or ambiance (literary, boho, etc.). Is there an unusual coffee shop that you love visiting?
Whenever I feel down and exhausted from my work, one thing that I love to do to recharge my soul is to get out and find a place that will give me the comfort that I need. A little cup of tea and a calming atmosphere will do. It may be not that high-end place but a place where my soul fits in.
With my one-call-away friends, we will then find a place that will give us a relaxing place to go. The unusual coffee shop that we visited together with my friend is the Buswang Lake House in Asturias, Cebu. That was during my lonesome days that we found the place. It was just a few meters away from the National Highway from Barangay Bago, Asturias, Cebu.
Before we reach the place, this awesome view will meet you. Greenery and overflowing rice fields around the area fit my healing. We took a lot of pictures. I want to have great memories of the place because for sure seeing this will be love over and over again.
The place is simple yet it's very relaxing and comfy to visit. It is located near a little lake beside the place. Why it's very comfy? The fresh air that soothes and touches your face is natural. The place was built during the pandemic days when everything around almost stopped. This place was built so that people would have a place to recharge their weary souls.
The place offers affordable meals to visitors and barkada drinks. Aside from that, you can also try their floating cottage and enjoy the overlooking view of the lake. The place is a good spot for catching old friends whom we have not talked to for a while.
While waiting, you can roam around on its wooden and open area resto bar. A lot to explore and try in the place, not only for their delicious drinks but for the best experience and wonderful memories to create in the wondrous place.
The memories brought by the place are unforgettable. Though the place was not yet fully finished during our visit, we were filled with infinite love for the place - the lake and the rice fields.
All of us had an unusual place that we love to visit again if given the chance. Different reasons why we love to go back to the place but with one heart and purpose, we enjoy the place and it gives us the relaxing mind that we need.
