Meeting a friend over coffee is my most convenient place for deep talks. As I was waiting for my friend in the city last week, I found myself sitting on the couch of one of the coffee places in Cebu - Bo's Coffee, located on Osmeña Boulevard Cebu City.
This blog is my entry to #TheCoffeeShopPrompt Week 100. To share my entry, here's my blog for you. It was my first time in this place. And I found the place convenient to where we are both located. I choose a place to stay where I am comfortable and order food to eat while waiting for her.
As I entered the store, a lot of people were dining in and having deep talks with friends and lovers. Some were doing their virtual work while drinking and eating their favorite coffee and snacks. I found it suitable to work here on your laptops and phones because it's very convenient you can do your tasks in a hassle-free way for the food is just beside you and you're provided with free Wi-Fi when you order. And if you have your data, you can do all-day work.
I move closer to the counter for my order. You can have hot and iced coffee beverages with coffee or non-coffee drinks, iced tea, and lattes. You can choose from different snacks like pancakes, bread, cookies, and other desserts. I made my order, one iced cookie and cream coffee to make my afternoon snacks complete, and paired it with a dark chocolate glazed doughnut.
After sitting for about 2 minutes, my order arrived. And I love the doughnuts because it's hot without even giving instructions to microwave my order which I love their staffs where they were not being told to do so but trying to satisfy their customers always.
While having my snacks, my eyes are roaming around. Checking on the different corners of the place. The place is clean and spacious which could accommodate a large group of people. There are tables allotted for pairs, groups, and families. If you wish to work outside, yes you are provided, tents and chairs were provided on the outside.
The decorations and the lights arranged very well at the center are what attract me the most. The piled baskets look cool and interesting. The lights were enclosed in large baskets hung tightly above. The space is not too close to each other and the chairs were very comfortable to sit with while having your time.
Enjoying my me-time in the place is not wasted time, even if I spend about an hour here waiting for my friend. I realized, sometimes we need to relax and stop thinking about the finances and problems in life. Self-rewarding is a must for everyone especially if we are bombarded with stress from our environment, we need to unwind a little bit and take more time for ourselves.
