Greetings dear friends and faithful lovers of the elixir of the gods, I hope you are all having a peaceful and relaxing Sunday. A warm welcome to my blog.
This year I start with solar energy repowered, lately it is making a sun that is even scary to leave the comfort of our home and if we add to this the failures and power outages you can imagine how it worsens with the heat.
I declare myself a faithful lover of coffee and during my short life I had only known its traditional presentation, until I came across this beautiful community and since then I have known the great diversity that exists in it and that it can be drunk both cold and hot. Hence now I try to learn a little about the different presentations, from the comfort of my home since there are no cafeterias in my town.
However, this has not been a limitation to discover exquisite flavors through coffee, so today I want to share my experience with Affogato coffee, I confess that since I heard about it I was very curious to taste it, so I took advantage of it. I had bought some ice cream cones with various flavors such as Brawnie, Arequipe, strawberry and Rum with raisins to refresh my children's midday and I set out with my faithful companion to prepare this delight.
Previously I had prepared a portion of very concentrated coffee without sugar, which was at room temperature and I just placed the ice cream portions in the glass and slowly added the coffee until the ice cream portions were submerged by it, hence the name Affogato (drowned ice cream) to mine I added liquid chocolate and to my husband's a small portion of liquor, that is optional as well as chocolate or other additions.
I loved the combination of flavors, the bitterness of the coffee, the cold, the sweetness and creaminess of the ice cream and the touch of chocolate was something explosive for my palate, definitely this is a drink that I highly recommend for these hot days where you want to refresh from your mouth, this drink is accompanied by a small spoon so you can shake it or take small portions of it during the process.

Saludos apreciados amigos y fieles amantes del elixir de los dioses, espero todos estén teniendo un domingo tranquilo y relajante. Reciban toda una cordial bienvenida a mi blog.
Este año inicio con la energía solar repotenciada, últimamente está haciendo un sol que da hasta miedo salir de la comodidad de nuestro hogar y si a ello le anexamos las fallas y cortes eléctricos ustedes se imaginaran como se agudiza con el calor.
Me declaro fiel amante del café y durante mi corta vida solo había conocido su presentación tradicional, hasta que me topé con esta hermosa comunidad y desde entonces he conocido la gran diversidad que existe de él y que se puede tomar tanto en frio como en caliente, de allí que ahora intente conocer un poco sobre las diferentes presentaciones, desde la comodidad de mi hogar ya que en mi localidad no hay cafeterías.
Sin embargo, esta no ha sido una limitación para descubrir exquisitos sabores a través del café, por lo que hoy quiero compartir mi experiencia con el café Affogato, les confieso que desde que escuche de él tenía una gran curiosidad por degustarlo, así que aproveche que había comprado unas barquillas de helados de sabores diversos como Brawnie, Arequipe, fresa y Ron con pasas para refrescar el medio día a mis niños y me dispuse junto a mi fiel compañero a preparar esta delicia.
Previamente había preparado una porción de café muy concentrado y sin azúcar, el cual estaba a temperatura ambiente y solo me dispuse a colocar las porciones de helado en el vaso y lentamente le agregue el café hasta que las porciones de helado quedaran sumergidas por él, de allí el nombre de Affogato (helado ahogado) al mío le adicione chocolate líquido y al de mi esposo una pequeña porción de licor, eso es opcional al igual que el chocolate u otros agregados.
Me encanto la combinación de sabores, el amargo del café, el frio, el dulzor y la cremosidad del helado y el toque de chocolate fue algo explosivo para mi paladar, definitivamente esta es una bebida que recomiendo mucho para estos días calurosos donde quieres refrescarte desde tu boca, esta bebida se acompaña de una cuchara pequeña para que puedas agitarla o tomar pequeñas porciones de ella durante el proceso.
