The perfect moment ... 🤎 TCSP #33

I promise you that I have been drinking my black coffee, religiously, every day. I've also visited a few coffee shops, some I've already shown you, others are completely new. The last contest of this community, about the world coffee day, left me with an overdose of caffeine that I used for a week full of work and stress. Finally, I'm a little freer now and I'm back to tell you about my favorite time of the day to visit a coffee shop.

The truth is, my visits to a coffee shop usually have a purpose. For example, I may make an appointment at a coffee shop to meet up with an old friend. I also usually visit them to change my environment during those days when I work from home, so that change of environment gives me a boost of energy and productivity that suits me very well at work. Sometimes, I simply want a coffee, or a small dessert, which will inevitably be accompanied by a coffee. All these activities that I have just mentioned, and many others, have something in common, and that is that I schedule them for the afternoon hours. You may wonder why?

I wake up with a natural energy recharge that I multiply with a cup of black coffee but that allows me to be very productive (in any sense) during the first hours of the day. I use the first block of the day to get all my housework done, write, read, exercise, and even shop. Sometimes my afternoon is free, so it is the ideal time to invite a friend over for coffee, or even to walk around for a while and check out a new coffee shop. Other times (most of the time) I have a lot of work to do, so I can't concentrate from home, I get too sleepy and lazy, and my only motivation to work is to imagine myself working in a nice coffee shop, having a warm drink. So my second batch of work, I usually complete it in the afternoon, accompanied by a good coffee.

A plus of the afternoon, especially the late afternoon, is that the sun says goodbye with a beautiful color. The "golden hour", that magical golden sunset, is very relaxing and beautiful to witness, and I love to organize my time to get back from the coffee shops I visit just at that time. Thus, my body and soul are recharged with a natural energy to finish, happily, the last hours of my day :) I'm not saying it, psychology says it, coffee and sunshine are excellent for boosting your mood.

Thank you for sharing a lovely story on this week's #tcsp

A parody from a fictional book

What a delicious coffee 😋😋😋 And he definitely also visited the cafeterias with a purpose, whether to meet, share or simply for a treat 😎

That's the best thing about purposes, they make us enjoy the moments even more! :)

Wow, I envy that you wake up with a natural energy recharge, that never happens to me and I have to take a cold shower and then drink coffee to wake up. Do you have an additional secret?

My secret is to get enough sleep to have energy. The truth is that I have no sleep problems and I even take naps at any time of the day without much effort. 😅

Coffee is the best companion for any moment. What usually gives me that energy recharge is coffee. How do you always wake up feeling upbeat, without needing anything else?

It usually occurs after a good night's rest and deep sleep. Otherwise (something that happens several times a month) if I sleep only 5 hours of course I will need caffeine in my veins to feel like existing, hahaha.

Hello @sofiaquino98
I relate very well to what you say about the time of day because pretty much it's the same for me. It's rare that I go to a coffee shop first thing in the morning unless I'm travelling (such as an airport stop, or a road stop).

The "golden hour", that magical golden sunset, is very relaxing and beautiful to witness, and I love to organize my time to get back from the coffee shops I visit just at that time.

Hmm, I like this idea and I'm imagining a beautiful view and a sensational feel, but it never occurred to me to try it so late.

Thanks for sharing this lovely story on the prompt:)

You're very welcome. Have a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Day!-8.jpg

Hi dear Milly, thanks to you for leaving your beautiful energy here. I really recommend you to try a visit to a cafe in the late afternoon, with a nice view of the sunset. I would call it a spiritual experience, I enjoy it very much! A hug for you 😊💌☕️
