Hello to all coffee and tea lovers. I am pleased to exchange with you again, to discuss an initiative that, for me, is an initiative-trap. I say this because I really enjoy drinking coffee made at home and by me. It is not that I am the best at it, but I love to make it and enjoy the whole process.

However, drinking coffee in a coffee shop has its charms and one can do things that, at home, generally, one cannot do. It is true that at home I admire the tranquility of the moment, the intimacy of the coffee with my wife, enjoying our coffee telling each other how our day went and the things we want to do in the rest of the day or later on. But, we can't do others that also bring us a lot of satisfaction. Anyway, here I will leave you with what I consider I enjoy more in a coffee shop than at home.

Questions

To try to respond to the initiative, we can ask ourselves the following questions:

Where do we prefer to have a cup of coffee?
Where do I enjoy it more?
What is special about the place where we enjoy a cup of coffee?
What can I do in a coffee shop that I cannot do at home?

These questions serve to better understand the initial dilemma I have because it may be thought that the preference is for a particular place, when what I mean is that in each of the places there are aspects that are enjoyed, but in the coffee shop there are things that we can do better than at home.

Anyway, here are 7 preferences of things I like to do more in a coffee shop than at home:

• Socializing with co-workers and friends.
• Enjoying a conversation with a barista, about coffee topics.
• Increase my general knowledge about coffee making.
• To enjoy a different type of coffee than the one I make.
• Tasting different types of coffee drink preparations.
• Another thing that I enjoy in these coffee shops is to combine my favorite beverages: coffee with beer, something that I cannot always do at home.
• Living in society and observing behaviors, relationships because as a biopsychosocial being this is essential.

A final comment

In a future initiative the question could be different and we would have to see the things we like more about drinking coffee at home than in a coffee shop. I think it would be interesting.

Regarding this topic my personal appreciation is that these are places destined to this type of activity, with a qualified personnel in this matter and many things are done in a better way than at home or more skillfully which gives it a special touch and makes us feel in an excellent way.
