When it comes to enjoying coffee, I find that I need three core components to fully experience the moment. The first thing would be my mug. I have two mugs that I love to use when I make my coffee.
The first one is my white mug. I love it because it’s white on the outside and pitch black on the inside. This shade of black is so pretty, it’s almost mesmerizing.
When I use this specific mug, I am compelled to be present as I take in each sip of coffee. And that enhances the whole experience, making it ten times better.

My second mug is an adorable dark brown color, with what I assume is a swirl of dark brown coffee foams on its body. When I mix my coffee in it, I usually try to make it match the color of the mug itself.
I choose these mugs because they are the perfect size, and they insulate the heat of the coffee so I don’t get burned when holding them in my hand.
Another thing I love to do that helps me enjoy the entirety of my coffee is when I’m reading a good book simultaneously.
I’ve drunk coffee and read books together so much that when I think back to some certain characters in a book, I can physically perceive the aroma of coffee in the air, even when it’s nowhere in sight.
I sometimes would set up to read a novel, and upon realizing that I didn’t have some caffeine in the house, I’d pause the book and go out to get some. It has now become a part of my routine when reading.
Another activity that enhances my drinking is when I pair it with working on my computer. Usually I settle for music, which typically gets me in the mental zone of productivity. But I realized that adding coffee to the process also does wonders for my flow.
Not only does it increase my focus, but I also enjoy my coffee. There is just something about taking a sip of coffee, being hit with dopamine at each sip, and then dedicating it to work. I can’t explain the feeling in words, but it feels spectacular.
These are the three things that enhance my caffeine experience.
Thanks for Reading😊
