Good day, Hiveans! No matter how you feel that you’ve been running out of time, and you will be late for an appointment, I think if you focus on the good side of it, the Universe has a greater schedule than us. Anyway, I hope you’re fine while reading my blog today. In addition, I hope my blog today catches your attention.
Today, I was inspired by ma’am @nainaztengra to post here in the c/Sublime Sunday community. This is my first post in the community, and I hope I’m on the right track while sharing my experience here.
Now that we’re on vacation, no rush hours to make. My husband and I decided to have our lunch at my parent’s house. The weekend is a lazy day for me to cook. It’s been three years since My husband, and I lived separately from our parents' radar. But our house is just a kilometer away from my husband’s parents and meters away from my parents’ place. We lived in the same town with our parents. This happens when you marry someone who lives in the same as you. We were practically neighbors. We were batchmates in junior high school. As the old saying goes “marrying your neighbor is good because the soup will not spill”.
Since I find myself too lazy to do house chores in the house, and I miss the food cooked by my parents, this vacation is a good time for it. My parents are the best cooks I know. I’m wondering why the skills of cooking are not transferred to me. Every time I eat the food cooked by my parents; 1 cup of rice is not enough. Maybe because my taste buds are already familiar with the taste of the food served by my parents. My husband is not different from me either. He loves the food from my parents' place.
After having lunch at my parent's house, we decided to spend more time with my mother. We talked about new updates in our life.
We plan to have lunch only, but we feel sleepy after the chitchat. We take our siesta time at my parent’s house. we find ourselves waking up almost at dinner time. So, we take our dinner at my parent's house also. We spent our Sunday at my parents’ house. Surely, Sunday is family day.
These are the views at my parents’ house. Different variety of trees can be found. The reason we overslept is because the place is refreshing and relaxing. It is sublime because we feel good every time we visit the place. The welcoming aura of my parents and their joy every time we put time to visit and stay in the house.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
