This Sunday and the entire weekend have been an interesting adventure. A lot happened and a lot more was done in preparation for the coming of a fresh week. Today, in particular, was fairly satisfactory.
I started this day by getting an official invitation from my brother who will be doing his Induction next week. He passed his final MBBS exam and is now on his way to getting a professional license as a medical doctor. The happiness that comes with that is wild. My brother and my entire family have been filled with excitement because of that success.
With the induction ceremony being just a few days away, everyone has been busy to make sure that everything goes well. My brother is also working really hard over there. I already know and informed my family that I won't be there.
I genuinely wish to be there, but circumstances tied to the things I do at the moment make it really impossible for me to be there. Despite all that, seeing the invitation today gave me joy. I always pray for my Brother and the future that awaits him.
The rest of the day was quite chill.
We have already spent 30 hours without electricity. Thankfully, my freezer is still ice cold and my Solar inverter is doing a perfect job. I also have a sufficient water supply. So, even in a whole week of no electricity, I'm sure I can get by and do what I need to do online.
After an interesting first half of the day, I decided to go to a restaurant that's massively becoming my favorite in Ibadan. I got my meal there and in my usual fashion, I took it home and enjoyed the meal. Since it's Sunday, I decided to watch a Kdrama while eating instead of watching some tutorial video about NFT or Web3.
I still got pulled into work this Sunday. Haha. I got into an impromptu team call this evening and even got invited to an AMA on X. However, I only spent 30 minutes in the latter before going offline to wrap up some IRL stuff which I had to do before we dive into the week properly.
This day has generally been good.
