When I visit my City, as some of my own set rituals I have some first things to do. One of them is visiting my religious place, which is called as Fire Temple. It is in the midst of the city in a very serene environment. I visited the Temple on Friday. It was a rainy day and with that the place was looking all the livelier.
This is the entrance of the Fire Temple. At all our Temples we have the Lamassu structure. The significance of it is the Body of the bull signifies Strength, The head of the human with a crown signifies wisdom and the Wings signifies swiftness. It is considered to be a Guardian Angel protecting us from all evils and hence it is placed at the entrance.
You can see how the whole environment has changed in this place. Does not feel like you are somewhere in the midst of a noisy city. It cuts you off completely from all the hustle bustle.
This is the Fire Temple. The structure is very old and it is preserved as is. This Fire Temple was built in the year 1783. It is now 250 years old place and preserved in the best manner that could be done.
I cannot click the pictures inside, as we need to switch off phones once inside. The reason being that we do not want any radiation in this place. There is not much control on the outside but inside where we pray we want the place to be clean and high energy. You can imagine if the outside is so serene what it must be like inside. Totally blissful.
I like this Grandfather's watch which is kept outside. I do not know exactly how old it is, but looks like a minimum 100 years old piece.
These little lamp holders are there all over the place
This is the another part of the temple where people gather to pray together. This is the new part, which is recently made in the last 10 years but the care is taken that the structure looks similar to the original Temple.
The person in charge of the place, he seems to be fond of pets.
There is a well also in the place, which is operational and water is there with some fishes and small turtles in it.
I really love these old traditions and ways of living, they make us feel so grounded and connected to to Mother Earth. I spent around 2 hours in the place and then feeling very blissful and at peace left for home.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
