Yesterday, our internet connection was acting funny. I tried uploading, but it wouldn't let me. I think my daughter had a hard time posting as well. There is a typhoon arriving, and that's probably one of the causes.
It's been literally humid the past few days, and that drained me big time. Since yesterday, it has been raining on and off. I’m happy it’s raining, not because of the rain itself but because most of my neighborhood is in drought conditions, which being in farmland is cause for concern. I literally went out and stood in the rain this morning. I like the cool breeze it brings as well. There’s something so cathartic about it. I even took a few videos of the rain for my Facebook Page. On the other hand, I could not get online, so I spent most of my free time watching one of my favorite survival series, Naked and Afraid XL. They're badass, and I love how they thrive in the wilderness.
Anyway, two days prior to this rain, the sky above was phenomenal. I was in awe! It was in its purplish-pink hue with a dash of orange, and it was absolutely breath-taking. I just wanted to share a few shots because, why not?
Alright, my friends. I am going back to my little corner to continue watching the series, and I'm taking it as a sign to take a mental health day too. Series, naps, and coffee are the queens on the schedule today on a chilly, rainy night. I'm never good at not doing anything productive, but today, I’m going to try to be as unproductive as possible. Goals!
