Ou – Raadsal is one out of many historical buildings surrounding the Church Square in Pretoria, South Africa. This building once served as a governmental building / parliament for the government of the South African Republic during the years between 1891 and 1902. In 1902 the Second Boer War resulted in Britain annexing the republic. The architect behind it describes the architectural style as Italian Renaissance. The statue of a woman on the main tower is believed to be the Roman Goddess of War – Minerva.
