The city of Horta is the largest city on the small Azorean island of Faial. The Azorean islands are Portuguese islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean. This small island, and especially Horta, attracts lots of people. Many sailors who are crossing the Atlantic Ocean, makes a stop at Horta marina. They will stay here to wait for the weather to be perfect, and to stock up with food and stuff before the set out towards the Americas.
