Double Date with the Newlyweds

I had a very close colleague friend back in 2009 until 2012. We were in the same department for almost four years but I had to travel to the United Arab Emirates so the last time we have seen each other was on the day I signed off from the company.

Ten years later, we met again at his hometown in Moalboal. Darwin, has been such a great friend, we used to play badminton together, we traveled to Dumaguete and different parts of Cebu province back then. He was such a good friend and he always hangs out with us at home.

When we met again, he was engaged and just a few weeks from that day was his wedding. He invited us but unfortunately, there were unforeseen circumstances that we were unable to be present at his wedding. I greatly apologized for that, he accepted it dearly.

So, when he messaged me that they are having their honeymoon gift in Panglao, I didn't hesitate to offer that we tour them around as well after the honeymoon.

We had lunch together on that day, then we headed to Moadto Strip Mall, then we visited La Casa De Beatrice, this was a really nice place. It reminded me of the movie Encanto. Then after that we headed to the Guitar House, we stopped over The Mist too!

These series of images were taken at our second stop and we had a quick snack as well there. I will talk more about that in a separate article. This one is just a series of images I took for the couple as remembrance of their trip to Bohol.

Darwin and his wife are both government employees working in the Department of Education. As always, it was fun having Darwin with his jokes and we had a lot of catching up again. We both love to talk about the sport volleyball and are both fans of Alyssa Valdez.

They were also very cool whenever I ask to take photos of them. I am glad that when we visited La Casa De Beatrice, there were no other people around. There were guests coming in but they were just inside their room at that time.

This place is really beautiful and I highly recommend it to those who want to have an afternoon snack in a peaceful and quiet as well very artsy and cute place! You'll love to take photos of every corner for sure just like when we visited it!

We were there for around an hour I guess and we wish we could stay for a night. The pool was really calling us for a dip!

It was nice having them around. We had lots of talks and chitchat and we both appreciated the beauty of that place. I even planned on bringing my parents too in there for an overnight stay. I hope we can get that done soon! They have their in house restaurant too which offers meals and they have really good ensaymada!

I promise to show you more of the place in the next article. For now, it's just the newlyweds' time to shine.

I enjoyed taking photographs of the two. They were all smiles and love was clearly felt in the air!

After having our quick afternoon snack, we then bid goodbye to this beautiful place. The staff who welcomed us were really thankful that we considered their place. It's not very near to the main establishments in Panglao but if one has a car or motorcycle, it's just easy to get there following Google Maps!

I had heard of this place on social media and it was a perfect time to bring the newlyweds there!

Thanks a lot Darwin and Karen! We have a great time and we will soon see you in Cebu!
