Picasso had a pink girl, and I gravitate to paint it black to color the world in extra blue.
I wonder which version of her portrait you'd prefer - color or black and white?
She did not pose and did not receive the processed photos, so I never knew which one would prefer the model herself... probably the coloured one, I assume.
This was captured at the Palace Square at St.Petersburg, during the magic hour when the sun already went down and the shades elongated tremendously. The last light of a day; but mind it: in May-June my city has the longest day hours... and in the night you may not see the dark hours at all - just the 55 shades of blue, hehe.
