Hello everyone. How are you? Today I want to share some pictures that I took yesterday.
Yesterday was the great festival of filial piety, a special day of the year. This is one of the most important Buddhist holidays. On this day, the children will devote their entire hearts to repaying their parents' kindness in raising their ancestors. Furthermore, the children will live free lives and perform meritorious deeds so that their parents can benefit.
Everyone knows that parents make significant sacrifices for their children and put forth significant effort to raise us to be people without expecting anything in return. Whatever happens, remember to keep the entire religion as a child, and to respect and love your ancestors to the fullest extent possible.
Vu Lan's birthday is an opportunity to remind future generations of his merits, such as the sky and the sea. At the same time, it enables us to gain access to Buddhist culture's humanistic educational meanings.
And I took these bright pictures on my way home from the temple. Now I would like to share them, as well as my thoughts, with everyone.
