Very cool images of abstract!

Joining the fun this time for the b&w. Below is the architectural ensemble of the Cube building in Birmingham. It is really a play of stacked up cubes. Mesmerizing to look from any angle and joyful decoration for the city.

Have been here three weeks ago and it is as good as the first time.

By the way, it slightly resembles, at least to me, Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre in Reykjavik, Iceland. However, Harpa looks more like a honeycomb. Looks breathtaking with all its internal lights at night :)

"Paseo del Buen Pastor", Cordoba, Argentina.

Previously it was a prison for women. A decade ago it was converted into an open-air promenade with gourmet restaurants, a local contemporary art gallery and a small Memory Museum. A generous green space surrounds the building, and predisposes the recreation of the students who live nearby, in the university city.

Here’s a black and white shot of St. Andrews Cathedral in Singapore. It was originally meant as a coloured shot, but it didn’t turn out that great. So, I tried turning it into b&w and I think it turned out much better.

My black and white architecture entry :

This round building can be found at Plaza del Cabildo in Sevilla centre.
It’s an architectural masterpiece. The size is half of a circle. So many arches on some level. Pillars can be found on the ground floor and third floor. And it is decorated with paintings of flowers and ornaments above the arches. The building is all white. It’s stunning even in this black and white photograph. Below are shops and above there are residential apartments. In the middle of the half circle there is a cute fountain located. Right in the photo.
I made this photo last year when I visited Sevilla for the first time in October. I couldn’t get the entire building in one photo…
