The quarter that surrounds the gothic cathedral of Palma de Mallorca is full of narrow alleys where the access of cars is almost forbidden, and the sun light comes indirectly due to the narrowness of the streets. Under our modern point of view, basically dependents on cars, is hard to believe that this district was in its origin and for centuries, the place where the richest people of the island lived.
