Pada postingan kali ini saya menampilkan foto perjalanan saya dan rekan-rekan di pesantren ke Kota Meulaboh, tepatnya di Mesjid Baitul Makmur Kota Meulaboh.
Aceh merupakan sebuah propinsi yang terletak di ujung bagian barat Pulau Sumatera. Aceh juga termasuk propinsi yang kental akan syariat Islam, hingga tak heran bila di setiap daerah berdiri kokoh Mesjid dengan berbagai nama. Berdasarkan data dari Dewan Masjid Indonesia (DMI) Aceh tahun 2013, jumlah mesjid di Propinsi Aceh berjumlah 3.883 Mesjid yang tersebar di 23 Kab/Kota.
Dari kesekian banyak jumlah Mesjid yang terdapat di Propinsi Aceh, saya dan rekan-rekan pernah melaksanakan shalat berjamaah di Mesjid Agung Baitul Makmur Kota Meulaboh.
Mesjid Agung Baitul Makmur merupakan mesjid yang sangat megah dan terkenal di kawasan pantai barat Kota Meulaboh. Mesjid ini terletak di Desa Seuneubok Kecamatan Johan Pahlawan Kota Meulaboh. Melihat secara arsitekturnya Mesjid ini identik dengan warna cokelat cerah dipadukan dengan warna merah bata pada bagian kubah mesjidnya. Selain itu, mesjid ini memiliki tiga kubah utama yang berbentuk bulat berujung lancip serta diapit oleh dua kubah menara air yang berukuran kecil.
Setiap pengunjung yang berdatangan ke Kota Meulaboh, tentunya Mesjid Agung ini menjadi tempat yang wajib dikunjungi. Karena keindahannya yang sangat memukau sehingga menjadi daya tarik untuk berfoto di halaman dengan berlatar belakang mesjidnya. Dan tentunya selain berfoto juga menjadi tempat beribadah bagi setiap pengunjungnya.

In this post, I show photos of my trip and my colleagues at the Islamic boarding school to Meulaboh City, to be precise at the Baitul Makmur Mosque, Meulaboh City.
Aceh is a province located at the western tip of the island of Sumatra. Aceh is also a province that is thick with Islamic law, so it is not surprising that in each area there are mosques with various names. Based on data from the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Aceh in 2013, the number of mosques in Aceh Province amounted to 3,883 mosques spread over 23 districts/cities.
Of the many mosques in Aceh Province, my colleagues and I have performed congregational prayers at the Baitul Makmur Grand Mosque in Meulaboh City.
Baitul Makmur Grand Mosque is a very magnificent and famous mosque on the west coast of Meulaboh City. This mosque is located in Seuneubok Village, Johan Pahlawan District, Meulaboh City. Looking at the architecture, this mosque is identical to the bright brown color combined with the brick red color on the dome of the mosque. In addition, this mosque has three main domes which are round with a pointed tip and are flanked by two small water tower domes.
Every visitor who comes to Meulaboh City, of course this Grand Mosque is a must-visit place. Because its beauty is so stunning that it becomes an attraction to take pictures in the courtyard with the background of the mosque. And of course, besides taking pictures, it is also a place of worship for every visitor.
