Having a job is cool, but having a job that gives you joy and happiness is everything. There are times when we would be left with no choice than to do whatever kind of job that we see. And also there are times when we get the accurate kind of job that we aspired to.
My kind of job is not really that which makes me an employee. So I can call myself self-employed. Running a business can be so tricky at times. And it's also way different from other kinds of jobs out there. You can't compare a businessman to that of a banker. Their professions are different and also you can’t compare a mechanic to a lawyer.
As for my job, one thing that brings me joy doing it is the freedom it gives. I am more of a boss of my own. And that's quite easy to deal with, unlike being an employee that would require some permission from their employer before they could have the freedom they need.
Though almost all professions have their rough ends. Getting into business, as it gives freedom, it also sometimes doesn't give me freedom too. There are times when I would need to take some rest from work, but at that time I just can’t because I can't leave the business at that point in time.
There are challenges in running business, and one of it is financial stress. This is not in any other kind of job. So being self employed and you are about running a business then you should know that you must be financially capable to run it.
So another joy you can derive from running a business is to be financially stable. If you are financially stable then you will have the joy from going into business.
Unlike other kinds of jobs that give vacations after some period of working time, and also have their employees get paid some amount as their basic salary and some additional stipend too. Business will also give you two options, either you make profit or you run at loss.
If I am given a chance to quit my job for one thing, then that’s because I am not making profit anymore. But as much as I keep making profit in the business, there is no business owner that would ever consider quitting.
Profit is like a pillar to running a successful business. Most times when you see companies or businesses collapse and quit, if you check them well it either they are not making profits and have run at loss.
If you are financially stable to run a business. Then you should also hope and work towards making profit as it would serve as a driving force to a successful business.
