How much I like texting.

I am the shy type but not so timid as such. I am optimistic and friendly to some extent. But with time I tried getting better at speaking with people face to face. I find it easier to speak freely with guys than to do with ladies. I don't know why.

But with time I finally had my way through. I was able to express myself to any extent, I found a means, I found a way. And it was through texting. When Dad got me a mobile device, then I was able to get some mobile apps that aided texting more than just sms.

The fun fact about it was that I was able to do that through some instant messaging apps. It's so interesting to see that when you drop a message to someone online the person would respond almost immediately and with just a little amount of data.

At first, I found it more difficult to type and respond to messages so quickly. But gradually I was able to get my hands on the keypads and my typing improved. At some point, I started practicing typing off-screen. 😂.

I found myself used to texting more than even having physical conversations. But with time I started getting tired of texting much and preferred having calls instead. Since I started my journey as a blogger instead of texting more on chats I diverted all that energy towards blogging. Since blogging is mostly about typing and typing.

I am still not free from responding to chat texts but it's just that I get tired of it most times since I have been on texts all through.

I have a friend who is always so addicted to texting. He loves to respond to chats instantly but hates calls so much. I don't know why he dislikes calling that much. Even if his parents call him he would still complain about it. But if you text him you get your response almost immediately.

We are different and I think we all have our likes and dislikes. One thing I found lovely about texting is the anonymity it brings. You don't know exactly how they are, you don't know their personality, or how such a person looks.

There are times when you just have to listen to those people you are chatting with on call to feel their emotions and reactions. There are times when someone would type “lol” to you and then underground they are not even smiling, not to talk or laugh. But on your end, you might just get deceived trying to picture those texts to live reactions.

It's easier to say “I love you” and send many more crazy things via text than to do that in reality. I feel the reality of real conversation builds more respect and honor than having those conversations via text. So all of these come with their advantages and disadvantages.

I do this most times and it used to be funny to me when I think about that. Hahaha 😀 I may even use that rolling with laughter sticker and still not move my teeth here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I am one of those people who prefer you text me than call me, just drop a message on WhatsApp and I will respond but might end up not taking a call.
