You must be well aware of democracy in the country. Today, there is a democratic government in many countries. The advantage of a democratic government is that the public elects its representative itself and for this election, the election process has to be followed. The advantage of a democratic government is that from the Sarpanch of a small village to the biggest leader, everyone is elected through elections. If seen from the perspective, the purpose of elections is that the public elects its representative in a democratic government. Now, these are bookish things but if we look at it in practical life, then things have become very different these days. What I mean by different here is that the benefits that we saw in a democratic government, how come the people and the public are not seeing these benefits.
First of all, when there used to be dictators and non-democratic governments, people used to face a lot of problems there too and at that time everyone wanted that whatever government is formed should be democratic. Initially, when a democratic government was formed, many big leaders did very good work at that time but many leaders are still doing good work, I am not saying that everyone is bad but some leaders are completely corrupt and they do corruption in their rule.
If I tell you about the people who are disappointed with the leaders elected by the people in our country, then the number of these people is quite high. The biggest reason for this is that whichever Jan Pratinidhi (representative) is elected by the people, he makes many promises before the election and announces many types of schemes, but when that leader forms the government, then many times he does not fulfill these promises, due to which people have to face problems. For example, if any Jan Pratinidhi (representative) is elected in your area, then first of all that representative will come to your house for campaigning and you will tell him the problems of your area and he will make many promises to him on time and can do anything to win your heart, but as soon as that Jan Pratinidhi wins the election, then you will not even find him so easily that you can talk to him. The biggest problem in this is that to whom should you complain and why there is no rule or law for this.

In many places it is seen that the government works only on those things from which it collects good revenue. For example, the government invests on toll highways or roads because it knows that whoever passes through there will have to pay tax because the government's income will also increase from this and if you see the condition of local roads, you will find it so bad that a person cannot even walk properly there, then how will vehicles pass. No revenue is generated from local roads, so the government does not pay much attention to them and when the public becomes very angry, then it gets some repairs done there and does not do anything more than this. Today we imagine a good democratic government but from where do we bring good leaders because if we really look at it, there are very few good leaders who work for the country without any selfishness and all the leaders in the country should be like this who work for the service of the country and not for their own service. Today we see that there are many leaders who once sit on the throne, earn so much money that their next seven generations can live happily without doing any work. On the other hand, the public who has brought them to the throne, they are not doing anything for the people. Now the biggest thing here seems to be that people also lose hope here because now the situation has become so bad that people do not have any kind of expectation from these leaders because they know that if we run after them then it will be our loss because our time will be wasted and no one is going to take any kind of action against them.
If I talk about change here, then first of all we should work on the corruption that is happening here because due to this corruption many leaders are able to earn so much money, so to stop corruption, some high authority people should sit who can completely end corruption and even if any correction happens in the future, then strict action should be taken against it.
