The crime rate it's increasing daily in my vicinity. I think the major reason for this is because of the increment in
the employment rate. Even in a place with a high employment rate, there is never a 100% guarantee that crime will be eliminated, even though there is never a reason for such an action.
I wonder what the future will look like when the leaders of tomorrow are killing themselves without no reason.
And our Government has made everything worse because, by the time those who committed crimes are reported, it's no longer news that it was the government that was making use of them as an instrument to destroy their opponent.
I live in an area that is full of bad guys, although there are a lot of elites In my area yet it's still a dangerous area to live in. Shomolu, Lagos ( Nigeria) is a place where you can walk and look all around if no one is following you. It is also a place where you walk and check your pocket every second if your gadget is still intact with you, lol it's funny right but that is just the simple truth about my area.
Sometimes you will see people running up and down, and you have no choice but to join them in the race. Even though don't know what's pursuing them.
But once you see people running, that means something is going on in the area. If you don't run for your life you might not live to tell the story.
There are lots of cultists there with different opponents so fighting and killing is nothing new to them once you see people arguing just walk as fast as you can because, within the blink of an eye, blood will be flowing in the street.
My area is a very dangerous place to live but because of my work I couldn't leave there and my area is even better than the neighbourhood streets.
In my area once it is 10 pm you are not safe to walk around in fact people that are inside are not safe so everyone is just living with fear because they don't know what might happen before day break because of those cultists, nobody wants to be a scapegoat so everyone knows the best time to get into their house.
And to top it all off, the police are not helping the situation at all. They are aware of the criminals who are causing damage, but whenever they show there, they invariably arrest the innocent and punish them for crimes they are not responsible for.
People are not free anymore to go about anyhow.
I think the solution to these problems is right from the individual families.
The boys that indulge in this act are the kids of landlords in the environment.
Parents should thoroughly train their kids, to prevent their kids from becoming communal disasters.
Community leaders should enact strict rules that will apply to any parents whose children are deemed to be community terrorists, and also hand over the bad guys to the police. This will reduce the crime rate of each community.
I have seen some communities that are now free from cultism, and the crime rate has also been reduced by the aforementioned points and they are having a conducive environment.
If communities can handle their safety, then it will make it easier for the local Government and the State Government to deal with the state crime rates.
